Probably No different than my 8" with 35s and everyone seems to like the stance of mine, but I would like to do the same. Go 2" higher and do like some 37s

Aside from getting an alignment, and an adjustable trac bar if you don't already have one seems to me like you should be fine. Some would say a new pitman arm but I don't see 2'' making a huge difference. I don't think the difference from a 37 to 38 will be anything you'd notice on something so big, aside from width that you typically get from a 38.

I'm not real sure about the driveshaft, I've always had a 1 piece so I've never dealt with it. But I would assume you'd have to add some shims like what comes with some leveling/2.5" lifts.

For the rear, since I've thought about lifting mine a little more, deaver makes a 2.5 inch lift replacement spring for 08s. I know you're trucks not an 08 but they may have it for you too. That's what I would do. If you're already sitting that high I'm just assuming you've got a big block to begin with, and I'm not sure you want a bigger one. Another option is a traction block setup. There are guys running 10" blocks with that setup and it seems more solid. I wouldn't stack blocks under any circumstance other than just testing to see what height you need, especially at your trucks height.

Make sure your shocks have enough travel in them for the extra inches you want to add. You don't want to have them maxed out and not be able to rebound properly. And you will probably have to shim your carrier bearing down a little more... 1/4in shim for every inch up in height give or take.

Thanks for the advice I plan on eventually upgrading shocks in the future, right now I have the pro comp explorers what would be acceptable travel?

I don't really go for lifted trucks like that, but the 2nd pic looks better as the axle is more centered in the fender opening
