Yesterday I started my truck in the morning drove to school, everything was fine, after school I start my truck and it shakes like an earthquake just sitting there. Check engine light comes on, when I push the pedal black smoke just pours out. Having to get home I take off with the "death shaker", pedal to the floor and it bearly moves. Once I got out of the school parking lot it ran fine, no shaking, and no CEL. I go out to start it this morning and the "Death Shaker" is back and CEL. My truck doesnt like to start when its cold and lately it has been 30*-35* I know eventually my GP will needed replacing but I dont have the time and the money to do it. HPOP res its full, wires are connected, fuel bowl is full and has good pressure (60psi). I am sure there is other things to check just having a brain fart. I have the block heater plugged in now to see if it will help at all. I dont have a reader or I would let yall know what codes its throwing.

What could possibly be wrong with the truck?

no codes, it sound like it isnt getting enough air but I am not sure and it has a real hard knock. It has no power, I believe it was the IPR but I unplugged it and it ran a tad better but not like normal

.

You can throw parts at it all day long and still not figure it out and wind up broke. Check for codes then go from there.

Granted it was from vato-zone LOL , I wish I had a scan gauge, but no codes were read engine off or engine on even though CEL was on.

You have to get it scanned to where you can at least get the codes that are there. The hard knock is needs more explanation.

I see to recall it was only the 94 trucks that had the issue regarding a good scan tool

Not surprising as these trucks are not OBD compliant. AE can about pay for itself on one trip to a shop.

Find some one with a good scan tool, that can buzz the injectors.... your going to have one that sounds different I am pretty sure then you have a direction to go.....

But until you can have a good scan tool to pull codes, and run a buzz and contribution, your shooting in the dark....

Hopefully one of the guys from the club (NTxPSA) will be coming by with his AE and see if it will work out but there is a couple of things I am going to check. If the injectors are going bad NEW INJECTORS ...... 2's

Well I looked at the plugs that go into the heads, I know some have 9 wires but mine only has 5. Well one pin on each of the passenger side plugs is melted. Could that lead to my problems? Where can I get parts to re-wire it, or do I have to redo the whole harness

There is a repair kit to fix the harness ends. Then new valve cover gaskets and undercover harness.
