Well, I went out today to run some errands and take my boy to get some lunch. Jump in the truck, took a little longer to crank and start then usual but it started up. Started heading down the road and the truck died when I let off the accelerator, shifted it to neutral and started it back up no problem. Drove it about another 50 feet and it died again. Pulled off on a side street this time, tried to start it again and this time is started and immediately died. Let it set for about 5 minutes and tried again, fired up but it was really lopey and surged a lot. I had to get it home so I put it in drive and started going. Truck drove like absolute crap, surging the whole way home under load, would almost die then kick back up again and couple times. Got it home and let it set for about an hour and tried to start it again and it would start, run for about 5-10 secs.
So I figured I would change the cps, didn't do anything. Pulled my chip from my pcm and that didn't help. Checked IPR to see if it was loose and it seems good and tight. Swapped IDM with another one I know is good and it still would die in seconds. I am at a loss, especially since the truck ran perfectly fine yesterday. Anyone got any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. All my mods are less them 8000 miles ago besides the chip which is still tuned for stock injectors.
