Hello, I have a 95 with a cracked timing cover that needs to be replaced. I have read that they updated the timing cover over the years to reduce airation of the engine oil and wondering if it would be advised to upgrade the timing cover and related or is it not that big of a concern? Currently have stage 1 injectors and a d66 turbo, head and main studs with cometic gaskets and ported heads. Most I plan on doing is going to stage 2 injectors and an intercooler. Thanx

The SD cover has a HPOP screen to protect the pump. Buuutttttt... The oil pickup tube is on the other side of the cover.
I might have a 96 cover if ur interested.

Other years have an updated pan for the pickup tube on the other side and a de-airation valve. I was wondering if I was going to possibly have problems down the road taxing the oil system more with big oil.
