So I recently posted a thread about the truck not starting after I put the motor back in and re sealed a bunch of stuff and installed a regulated Efuel system ... Got it started , wasn't getting power to the FICM , found out that issue and it fired , went for a test drive and it has like no power , and anything over 50kms feels like it wants to cut out and no power at all , also tranny feels like it's out of shift , shifting into OD sooner than it always has before and once in OD it looses power , any ideas ?????

1. The 7.3 has no FICM.

2. I would think any internal combustion engine would lose power at 50 kilometers per second.

This is technically also the aftermarket performance section...94-97 technically would be a better spot

Oh come on guys. Hes here for help. We all know he means the idm. And thats 30 mph for all you non canadians.

As fas as your power issue it really sounds like you have no fuel pressure. Or some kind of fuel problem.
If that checks out im leaning towards a big boost leak somewhere. Pressure test the boost side and check for leaks around the plenums . Also did you remember the O-ring on the outlet of the turbo??

I got 65psi fuel pressure , i changed my cam position sensor to one my buddy had thinking that was the no start issue but it was just the injector control module ... Sorry not FICM... It's like it's going into limp mode , so I'm going to disconnect battery's and put the old sensor back in. And see if that does anything.

I still think you have a major boost leak.
The trans shift strategy is based off bunch of different things , one of them is boost. If you dont have much boost and speed is going up it will shift early.
Lots of boost it will hold the shifts longer.

Do a leak test. No boost equals no power.

Best thing to have for these trucks is something to read the OBD port to see what's going on. A lot of guys use AE. I use my phone with Torque App Pro to read PIDs and Car Gauge Pro to pull DTCs and run buzzz and CCT tests. Bluetooth OBDlink LX to communicate. Goes a long way troubleshooting.
