Okay boys! Going out on a limb here. I have a E99 F350 extended cab with a zf6 transmission that’s the donor truck! The 7.3 and the zf6 are going into a 05 f350 crew cab 6.0 with an auto! I haven’t seen anyone else doing this! I’m coming to the conclusion with this swap I need to cut out part of the firewall on the 05 where the wiring passes through the cab! Then cut out the 99s firewall for the plug ins to have there slot and for the pcm with that being said! I also need to install my clutch pedal I haven’t yet pulled the dash out of the 6.0, but just with looking at it this looks like it will be tricky to do. Also cutting a hole in the floor board for the manual! I have heard there is a difference in floor boards from autos to manual If anybody has any information along the lines of what I’m doing I would supper appreciate the knowledge! ALSO TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR there is no such thing as can’t! ONLY do I don’t need anybody saying this can’t be done if so pls keep that opinion to ya self!
