Left pickup running awhile today and when I got back in it was blowing hot air out the vents. Checked freon and its good so I pulled part of the dash apart to find the actuator for the heat to cool. Didn't have much luck locating it though. The air box under the dash gets cold. Already checked fuses! Anybody had any issues with the controls or the actuator?

Mine was fan clutch. Pop the hood and spin it, if it doesn't have any resistance or it is easy to spin. It is shot

You can hear the fan kicking in when it's sitting idling for a period and temps are good, as stated before I checked freon and pressures are good. The problem has got to be in the cab, like stated the air box under dash gets plenty cold its just not making it out the vents!

Fixed a/c! It was not an easy task but had to pull dash part way out and change out the air temp actuator motor! Finally got it all done and a/c blows like ice once again!
