'05...Do you guys completely remove the oem A-pillar cover to add a 4 gauge pod, or do you put the new pod over the oem one?
Either way, how do you fasten it on?

This fits a bit different than the OBS trucks I have done.

Thanks.

Mine went over the existing pillar trim, you have to drill a tiny hole in the top corner & put a plastic push pin style fastner in it.

I usually use some small machine screws in case I need to take it off I don't mess up the paint or the push pins.

My pod from GS did not come with any fasteners...

Guess I'll have to come up with something....

Thanks.

call them, theirs come with screws and plastic caps that cover the screw head, its nice when you have to remove it for any reason.
