i feel like such an idiot i cant figure this out. i filled the pre filter with fuel and purged the line but my fuel gauge shows NO fuel pressure but if i loosen it its pisses everywhere. i have gauge at small filter housing at top of the motor with no small filter because it would be pointless right? what am i missing?

In the top filter housing where you have the gauge tapped into, when you remove the fuel filter there's a black post with a spring on it that the filter sits on. So when you screw the cap on with the filter in it the filter gets pushed down and allows the fuel to pass through. So when you remove the filter and screw the cap back down there is nothing to push down on the check valve so therefore no fuel pressure. Thats what the problem was with my truck.

Haha anytime! It took me 2 days to figure that one out on my truck. I was the happiest guy alive once I figured it out.
