I am currently in the process of rebuilding a 94 f350 powerstroke and am thinking about adding air conditioning the truck is an xl so did not come stock with it just looking to see if any one has done this and what it takes . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plan on putting in a brand new compressor, orifice tube and condensor and was going to try and get the tubing for the freon from the junk yard. What else am I missing thanks in advance

You will also need the evaporator and receiver/dryer. I would also think you will need the control switch(es) and wiring. Cheers!

It is definitly doable if you are detail oriented and like projects. I have done something similar, my advice is to pull all components yourself off of a donor truck, at least all the interior parts. New compressor, new drier, orfice tube, new rubber AC hoses.
