Adding Factory Tailgate Camera

So has this been done? Is it pretty easy or does everything need to be replaced, like the mirror in the cab and what not?

i ask because i'd love a BUC on this land yacht. i know i could hook any BUC to a display tuner, but I havent gotten my tuner/performance stuff done and wont for a bit, but would like the camera.

on my 06 .5T, ford had a lot of stuff just dummy plugged. my 2wd had wiring for ESOF behind the coin holder, and it had wiring for fogs even though I had none, just needed to add the hot to the fuse box. So I was wondering, would I be able to hook it all up w/ minimal wiring, or is it gonna be a PITA and I should just go aftermarket to save some stress. Thanks for all the input?

Does anyone have a BUC that could chime in?

I assume there is a pigtail on one of the gate hinges for wiring feed to the mirror? Can someone get a pic of this because I hope ford wired up all the trucks and just capped. Thanks!

Going to bet 'no' on the wiring being there and being capped.

I showed a completely different body harness for my truck to have factory subwoofer so I never bothered adding it. Took the carpet up and everything. It isn't there.

From what i understand everything from the handle forward needs to be added

I enquired about it on my new truck and its pretty complicated, there is an outfit that makes kits, ill see if i can find it.
