Hey guys,
Well I'm looking to start saving money for a build here in the future. Now I want a good dd and I want pretty good power. I will be towing and I do want to go to the track. The most I will tow is prolly 10k. I'm fairly new with the 6.0 stuff I'm not to familiar with what setups work and what doesn't work. in still trying to figure out If intake manifolds are worth the coin or not I'm trying to keep a lower end budget but I will spend the money were its needed. As for a goal I'd like to see 500hp+. If that means I need to run water meth to tow I'm okay with that.
Parts:
Injectors
Turbos
Fuel system
Intake manifolds
Water/meth?

So if you guys could throw some input and wisdom my way I would be very happy
Thanks Bryan

So I'm stuck in 190s or 175 injectors, I'm playing with the idea of a big Vgt to make the street manners better. Also would like it so my gf could handle the power. As for towing 10k would be Max proly... Studs and oils cooler will all be done at the same time as injectors. Tunning I'm prolly gonna try Eric, chris, and Matt's. Now what all will I have to upgrade to make this dream happen?

In all honesty, you're talking going from 500hp to up close to 600hp, which is really a big difference in the end price. 190s will require a MTW Stage 3 turbo to have a chance at towing unless you crank the fuel WAY back with a smaller turbo (which can be done but it will still get HOT with a race tune). The other main thing you will more than likely need is a transmission.

I would suggest 175/30s or 175/50s, a MTW Hybrid or Stage 2 or RCD 68mm Powermax, an AD150 w/sump and RR kit, and Eric's Xtreme X. This should put you over 500hp (i.e. 510 or more) and would still keep the fuel managable enough for towing. JMO of course.

MTW Stage 2 or hybrid w/ upgraded up-pipes
175/50
Full fuel system
Intake manifold to go with your no limit cold side kit
Studs
Have Matt re work the tunes for the new setup

Opening it up to let it flow as much air as possible is your best bet, no need to go crazy on injectors. 500 really isnt all that difficult once you open everything up and get a solid turbo on it.

Well I definitely wouldn't call myself an expert by any means but I was using the smaller injectors to get you a good amount of low end power and just a little more top end than stock injectors to get you over that 500hp mark.

Hopefully more folks will chime in here soon.

Thanks for the info guys!!! I'm just lookin for everyone's ideas and opinions there's is no bad idea!!! So what I have come up with is 175s prolly my best option for injectors nozzles I haven't figured out yet... I've been reading on mad turbos and I'm liking the results so they are prolly on top of the list. So who do you suggest for intake manifold? Also on the fuel system build my own or get a kit from a vendor?
