So I got AE for Cmas, and I've been fooling around with it trying to figure everything out. What I'm trying to locate is somewhere that lays out what everything "should" be. You know, when I read any particular parameter, what is normal, what is high or low. I know what the basics should be (voltages, temps, etc). But things like ICP desired vs actual, stuff like that. Is there such a place to find this without buying a manual from Ford?

Keep in mind I'm still teaching myself as I go! No issues with my truck, but my dads has some issues going on and i'd like to run through everything, but that doesn't matter much if I don't know how the numbers relate to what they should be.

Might try AE's forum on their website. Also, over on that "other site" there's a library thread dedicated to the use of AE. It's in the 7.3 section but their might be some relevant info in there.

Yeah most of that info I picked up from the boards.

ICP should be 4000psi or so on your 05. Actual should be very close to desired. If desired goes up and actual is lagging... then there's likely a leak...

I believe 03/early 04's are like 3600psi max.

Where do you find the info at Strictly Diesel? I browsed their website but didn't see anything. Might have overlooked it though.

Well that's understandable! Would be the reason I couldn't find anything. I'll check back later once the site is updated.

Thanks for the update though.
