aeroforce scan gauge issues still any help?

ok, i bought the damn gauge, installed it, it kept shutting off on me. On the first start up of the day, whether you drive it 1 mile or 200 it worked fine, but as soon as you kill it, and restart, it will not stay on, so the gauge does me no good now.
i sent it back, they said it is fixed, reinstalled last week, and what do you know, same damn problem. I emailed the company asking what was the issue and they said something or other was repaired and they sent it back.

now it does it again.

anyone else have the issue? my snapon mt2500 never looses connection so i doubt its the circuit's issue, has to be the gauge.

Mine has been doing it recently as well with not turning on at all, then it turns on randomly while driving down the road.

It's really pissing me off, not like it was cheap, and I emailed the aeroforce tech that I emailed before with no reply yet.

I sure hope(for you) Aeroforce's customer service has improved since the last I dealt with them.

Mines like 4 years old now, havent been contacted from anyone else about them.

then if I don't get an response I will post a you tube video of me smashing the God Damn thing with a hammer!!!!!!!!!!!

they were quick to fix (supposedly) and return back and they've answered 2 emails prior, I'll give them till tomorrow.

ok, I got 2 emails from aeroforce's tech guy this morning about 730 am.

He said to change the parameters its monitoring, as the pcm doesn't update some parameters fast enough for the gauge to know the truck is running.
So I changed the parameter on one to icp and its been going all day, with stop and go shutting off the truck while running errands.
So as of today, its "acting" ok, but time will tell.

So if you have a similar issue, change your monitored settings to something different and see if it changes anything.
