I'm in the process of installing an airdog 2 on my 04 ccsb 4wd. I've completely removed the factory pump, i'm having issues on where to mount the relay and unit itself. I tried to put it in the factory location but it won't clear the front driveshaft.

I put mine on the drivers side frame right across from the carrier bearing. Maybe A little more forward. If I remember right, I put it on back further where I could get the pump up easy and the backing plate then slid the unit up as far as possible. I'll look at it again when I get home and take a couple pictures

you're not worried about them catching? I ended up buying some shorter bolts, deleting the spacer, and adding some rubber bushings to help with vibration. It's mounted next to my transfer case

put mine right under the driver side door..right inbetween driver door and passenger..only place it would fit! and DONT drill the tank for the line at the back of the tank lol..i did this and now when its low, when i come to a stop she catches major air pockets! put er right in the center. going to have to cut a little with a pipe cutter. run all the wires along the frame up into the driver side of the engine bay - mounted my relay on the bracket in front of the power steering fluid.

I mounted mine right where the cab ends and the bed starts. The filters don't stick out past the body at all. the relay is mounted by the battery.

You can just barely see the filter in the space between the cab and bed.
