Ok so here is the Airdog mounted where I've seen others mounting them and where the instruction manual shows to mount it and there is no way I'm getting those fittings hooked up. Thesre's literally an inch - two inches of room on either side. The lines included have about 4" of straight solid line on either end...
Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong here...

I mounted mine on the outside of the frame

I thought about doing that (I already made a custom bracket because I hated the sandwich design they came up with) but I'm not sure I like the idea of it taking a beating from all the debris that the front tire will throw at it... Especially in the winter. It looks like I don't have much of a choice though.

I have mine on the outside of the frame also, and my truck is on gravel back roads most of the time. It has been fine for about 3 years now.

Make you like a big C channel out of some 16 ga steel to put it in mount the C channel against the frame first or just leave it loose then bolt the bracket through both of them. If you want it to fit up tighter on each side just use like a 1" hole saw to drill holes on each side for your fuel lines to run through kinda like this.

If this makes sense to you. the two o's are your fuel pump.

Here's the new mount. I think i'll see how much road grime gets thrown at it then if necessary i'll fab a shield for it.
