all 8 glow plugs bad!?!?

Guys I ohmed out my uvch's, all were good, but when I physically grounded the gp's and laid the body on the on the positive post (done it probably 100 times working on 7.3's) so I know I properly checked them, and not a single one even tried to heat up, ive never seen or even heard of all 8 going bad have yall?? Any ideas why?
