I have icon coils and trac bar and shocks all the way around, with PMF ALAs and traction bars. So this is a tangerines to oranges comparison(except I can't tel the difference between tangerines and oranges…but that's neither here nor there)
My old ranchos were dead(10 years old in December) and I had just a cheap 2.5" spacer up front. I'm a bit picky on my ride and what products I use. There are a few spots in town that I could feel the shocks top out if you were going over them at speed. And the truck was generally uncomfortable. After the suspension upgrade, and actually, the factory rear shocks, and one of them sheared the bolt, the ride difference was insane. Within a quarter mile my mom, who usually scoffs at my truck mods, noticed how much better it rode. One of my friends who'd only ridden in a leveled 12 150(it's pretty comfortable) and never in my truck before commented about how nice the ride is. And she's comparing it to the usual perception of a "big truck." And after getting the rear icons on, another friend noticed how nice the ride was. Which says a lot, because she she noticed that I actually accelerate when I'm approaching bumps in the road lol.
My point is, despite the price, paying for quality suspension is worth it. Power is nice and looks are cool, but you rarely ever use all the added power and you can't see all that cool paint match work from inside. But you can, however, appreciate the improved ride every day.
I believe (read: believe) the icon 2.0s to be comparable to fox 2.0s and was told to keep the icons instead of switching to fox. Based off of that assumption, I would say that an ideal leveling kit would be icon/Carli springs, trac bar and icon/fox shocks, PMF or OUO ALAs. PMF allows you to purchase traction bars, icon coils, fox shocks and ALAs or 4 link in one package, so that gets my recommendation. Plus Trevor is excellent to deal with. And many vendors here can get you Carli products. And I believe Jared Rice is an OUO dealer. I don't think the average guy will be disappointed with the above combo.
On some roads, I feel the truck is a bit wobbly, but these at roads that I used to slow down substantially on. Now, I don't feel the need to do so. It's not an unstable feeling, and it's far more controlled than before. Overall, this has probably been my favorite modification.
OP's pics aren't loading, but I believe the commuter kit was mentioned. That was my initial choice for suspension, with the fox 2.0s and I think it's an excellent starting point.
As far as wheels go, I have -12 18x10s on 35x12.5 Nitto trail grapplers. The only rubbing I have is the front valance. I need to adjust the front axle some. But my truck is an 06 and the wheel wells are slightly smaller than the 08+ trucks. So I'd expect your rubbing to be minimal.
This is the setup I have. With a 4" rear block. It's a little ass high. And seems lower in the front than with the spacer I had. If anything, I may add a 1" spacer in the front. Last I measured(spacer and block) it was ~1" high in the rear.
Hope this helps.
