I have a few questions about the carli leveling kit That I was hoping some of you could help me with.

1. 20x10 -12 offsett. 35x12.50....... Will it fit? (Website says recommends 18x9)
2. I hear people say great things about carli but I cant tell if they are only talking about the lifts that cost thousands of dollars. How will the $910 front level kit ride be compared to stock? Im not loooking to spend thousands atm for a lift and Im really just wanting to level it. Im mainly driving my truck to work and back home and occasionally on the deer lease but I dont plan on getting too extreme off roading.
3. Thanks again for the help guys. I really appreciate all the info Im able to get from you guys. I will post a pic of the kit just to make sure were talking about the same kit.

White Mamba aka Pete runs this on his F350 6.7

It's amazing how well it rides for something so simple.

You will need a F350 block as well or a 4" block for level stance. You could add rear shocks if you wanted to have all 4 corners match, that's up to you.

I think it might fit the 20x10 with -12....You may have to trim a little, not sure

1. I'd say yes it will fit. Only thing is with the stock ALAs it will most likely rub the outside of the ALA at full lock. I have OUO ALAs and there is no rubbing. Plus with the OUO ALAs you can get the correct castor angle with no shims.

2. Yes it rides better than stock. The Carli springs with the bilstein 5100s are awesome. I drive my on WAY back roads and huge excavation cuts / haul roads no problem.

To sit dead level you will need an f350 rear block. My f350 sits perfectly level. Only .25 inches lower in the front if you want to pull a tape, which I have. No cali lean and looks level.

Adjustable Link Arm. The arms that come from your frame down to the axles to hold them in place. Adjustable means you can adjust the bottom part of the link arm to kick the bottom of the axle out to compensate for lifting the vehicle. When you raise the front it will make your castor angle go closer to 0. You want 4 to 5 degrees of castor for ride quality and tracking. Also the ALAs help with 4x4 boosted launches... I would know lol

Dug up some pics from about 2 years ago.

1. Yes they will fit. You may have to pull the fender lining back, and or deal with the bracket on the back of the bumper. I just kinda moved mine over out of the way.

2. You want to go ahead and spend the money to get the Fox commuter shock package they offer. I've seen a handful of people not be too impressed with the 5100s, but never anyone with the commuters. That's what I have on my truck and they're great for mostly street and a little Offroad.

Ala's are a great idea. I have a similar product called a 3-link from Precision Metal fab. They may be a little less money, but not by much I don't think. They're both not cheap but when you get them in your hands you'll see the value. They're a good addition for ride and handling, but I'd put those further down the list than the Fox shocks.

So as not to start yet another Carli level thread, I'll pose the question here. When I bought the truck, I immediately swapped the ranchos for Bilstein 5100s. The fronts advertised for 0-2" lift, rears 0". Is it feasible to think I could swap the stock coils and track bar for the carli units to achieve a "ghetto Carli level"?

If you bought just the springs and track bar with the proper 5100s to match the increased stroke then yes you could do that. That's essentially all the leveling kit is. Springs, track bar, and shocks. I don't forsee any issues if you have the socks sized right.

I know a lot of guys piece together kits. Example... icon springs, BD track bar, and king shocks. It's all interchangeable as long as you get the right springs to make it sit level. Adjustable track bar to compensate for the lift. And shocks sized right.

Fwiw I have the carli leveling kit and just recently swapped to the BD Diesel adjustable track bar when I added the updated One Up Offroad track bar joint.

I have icon coils and trac bar and shocks all the way around, with PMF ALAs and traction bars. So this is a tangerines to oranges comparison(except I can't tel the difference between tangerines and oranges…but that's neither here nor there)

My old ranchos were dead(10 years old in December) and I had just a cheap 2.5" spacer up front. I'm a bit picky on my ride and what products I use. There are a few spots in town that I could feel the shocks top out if you were going over them at speed. And the truck was generally uncomfortable. After the suspension upgrade, and actually, the factory rear shocks, and one of them sheared the bolt, the ride difference was insane. Within a quarter mile my mom, who usually scoffs at my truck mods, noticed how much better it rode. One of my friends who'd only ridden in a leveled 12 150(it's pretty comfortable) and never in my truck before commented about how nice the ride is. And she's comparing it to the usual perception of a "big truck." And after getting the rear icons on, another friend noticed how nice the ride was. Which says a lot, because she she noticed that I actually accelerate when I'm approaching bumps in the road lol.

My point is, despite the price, paying for quality suspension is worth it. Power is nice and looks are cool, but you rarely ever use all the added power and you can't see all that cool paint match work from inside. But you can, however, appreciate the improved ride every day.

I believe (read: believe) the icon 2.0s to be comparable to fox 2.0s and was told to keep the icons instead of switching to fox. Based off of that assumption, I would say that an ideal leveling kit would be icon/Carli springs, trac bar and icon/fox shocks, PMF or OUO ALAs. PMF allows you to purchase traction bars, icon coils, fox shocks and ALAs or 4 link in one package, so that gets my recommendation. Plus Trevor is excellent to deal with. And many vendors here can get you Carli products. And I believe Jared Rice is an OUO dealer. I don't think the average guy will be disappointed with the above combo.

On some roads, I feel the truck is a bit wobbly, but these at roads that I used to slow down substantially on. Now, I don't feel the need to do so. It's not an unstable feeling, and it's far more controlled than before. Overall, this has probably been my favorite modification.

OP's pics aren't loading, but I believe the commuter kit was mentioned. That was my initial choice for suspension, with the fox 2.0s and I think it's an excellent starting point.

As far as wheels go, I have -12 18x10s on 35x12.5 Nitto trail grapplers. The only rubbing I have is the front valance. I need to adjust the front axle some. But my truck is an 06 and the wheel wells are slightly smaller than the 08+ trucks. So I'd expect your rubbing to be minimal.

3cb70bf2819fc12d30621af8b6166e73.jpg

This is the setup I have. With a 4" rear block. It's a little ass high. And seems lower in the front than with the spacer I had. If anything, I may add a 1" spacer in the front. Last I measured(spacer and block) it was ~1" high in the rear.

Hope this helps.

I seen this exact kit for sale on Craigslist in the Dallas/ ft worth area for $1500. Guy had it on his truck for a few thousand miles then took it off and traded the truck in. I bought a set of fox shocks off him, but not this kit. Look up Dallas Craigslist and search Carli. If you're interested.
