first off the truck will get supporting mods, and if needed i will firering the heads, goal is about 600hp(yes i know borrowing time on the bottom end)

trucks a 96 ccsb with a 5 speed will probably end up with 37's on it(3.73 i beilive). i live at 6500 feet currently and i would like to stick with the 5 speed.
i dont tow that often anymore but when i do its usually over 10,000(i dont care if i have to detune it as long as it isnt a dog in doing so.. aka 6% grade at 75 hahaha)

main issue i have is spool up specially with the 5 speed and staying "smokeless" i was browsing around, some suggest if you choose the right cam you can get very quick spool up with singles. i have no experiance whats so ever on that so if someone could chime it that would be awesome.....

i was leaning toward the lines of a compund set up with a small inducer(around362-366 ) feeding a 475-480 atmo i "think" that set up would beable to hit my goals and have virtually no lag which would be ideal for the stick. 250/200 or 200/200
any input would be appreciated! thanks

With compounds there are alot of variables to look at. Elevation being one of them. Also, with the right setup, you can with a much larger injector and moer then a 200% nozzle. Also, being that your a 5 speed, and at elevation, ide imagine with most turbo setups it would be a pain to keep in boost and stay on top of the turbo(s).

I bet with good tuning and a 64-66 mm single you wouldn't have any spool issues.
