The 6x6 wheel was definitely quieter and felt like it had still a little more mid and top end than stock. If you compare the pitch of the impeller blades on the different wheels you can certainly see the pitch is more aggressive. Most of this is thrown out the window for someone who isn't loaded or isn't towing to heavy because the truck gains rpm fast enough that you don't notice the lag threshold.
