My truck is acting weird, it will build boost like crazy thru 1st and 2nd gear pushing boost the whole time. Once it gets into 3rd it almost feels like it defuels and drops my boost from about 22 to around 12. Then it will shift into overdrive and build boost and run good. Now it only does this when I hammer down the pedal. If I drive it normal and runs fine. I have a boost fooler and haven't had any defueling codes or any check engine light for that matter. I had an issue building over 15lbs of boost but I fixed that once I found my filter was completly clogged. We had the motus hooked up to it during that and everything looked good. What do you all think it might be?

So I'm normally not the kinda guy to just throw parts at something but I tried swapping the ipr, icp and tps off my brothers truck this weekend to see it any of that would change. Needless to say I still have the same issue and now its starting to do it in overdrive. My thoughts are either a pcm issue or the strainer in the tank is somehow getting clogged.

He would be getting a code if that was the case. You have checked for any codes correct?

Yeah I get all the normal codes from having tunes, but I have to beat the chit out of it for about 30mins to even get them to pop on. We tried changing the pickup screen in the tank and I replaced the fuel pump. Still nothings changed and its starting to get worse. I'm going to try and swap the pcm and see if that will change anything.

I have a autometer fuel pressure gauge in my cab I bought from you a couple months back, how would you hook a gauge up to the icp?
I'm thinking either cps or pcm any thoughts on this being a sign of either one?
