I hear they do make your brakes a little firmer, no experance. But if it helps I will be going branded lines when I need to do brake pads if that helps
if your running new hard lines with it. Get the Nickle copper tubing, its worth the extra dough

I always upgrade to braided ss lines when I lift my trucks, but I've never really noticed a difference in the pedal at all including my 95. I'm running skyjacker's braided lines currently, I got them from 4 wheel parts, I don't remember how much they were off the top of my head

Thanks guys. I might go ahead and try this kit then, as I am going to order a couple black CPS's from them anyways.

I always upgrade to them because around here, the normal black rubber just doesn't hold up well. I've had plenty of them split on me over the years, an having the brake pedal go to the floor when I'm trying to slow down is not a feeling I enjoy, so for me it's worth the roughly $150 to not have that problem.

I know what you mean. I originally hail from the northeast, so rubber lines get all messed up around there too. Now that I'm in the salt-less south, I'm wanting to do something a little more aesthetically pleasing, while still being functional. I absolutely hate the brakes on the truck right now, they pull to the left hard while braking. That makes me think that either the right caliper is not working, or a rotor is warped. So, while I'm in there replacing calipers and pads, I figured I would put some fancy looking stainless lines on :D I really wanna do the hydroboost conversion, that way I'll be good in the brake department.

The braided lines do look better than the black rubber. I've used skyjacker's ss lines on my last 2 trucks, an I've been happy with the quality of them. I'm sure the 1's your looking at are just as nice as well, I don't really see there being that many differences between the 2 companies.
