Remove the armrests from King Ranch bucket seats?

I cleaned and conditioned my seats today, and would like to flip the drivers side over to the passenger side, and vise versa.. (then they would look brand new again.)

How will that work with the hole in the side of the seat? Or are you going to just switch the bottom? Any way on my leather seats you have to pull the leather back to get to the bolt holding it on.

He's just going to flip the armrest, not the whole seatback.

I did that on my KR. Turned out nice. I didnt remove the whole thing though just the skins. Reach in the hole on the backside and gently pull. They just slip over it like a glove

it's a torx in the center pivot
you pry the back of the cover forward to access
but since they are left and right they wont interchange so the cover swap is the way to go even though I think those are right and lefts also they look close so like these guys stated it should work

or an ebay seller has replacements

Does the foam come off with the cover or just the cover ?

I actually removed mine for My 08 console ,, I still need to machine a billet cover for the holes

Just the leather comes off, bought some replacements off of ebay for my last truck.

Just the cover comes off, also to help put the cover back on, from the factory they put some plastic over the foam, i ended up going with a cut up shop rite back to help slide the leather covers back over, helped turn the cover into the right position and set it were the stictches all lined up
