I rode In a 6.0 similar to yours extpower. .. he had a colt stage 3- this was two summers ago and I did ask him what kind of modifications he had to make... he said he didn't know as the motor was built and the engine builder recommended the s3 along with the parts needed to make it work (pistons, valve springs, push rods ).. I am certainly not familiar with these s3 and s4's but that truck had zero lag(has hybrid injectors, mass diesel tuning, and Compounds non vgt's) and did have a chop big cam idle. I know, no help but at least I rode in a truck that had what u asked about lol

Yeah, I'm just gettin to used to the power again:fustrate:

It's so addicting...

I'm pretty much done with turbos now...well, once I get the new housing for the 69mmSXE...then it's move up on injectors...and cam...that's it.;)

Sounds like the stage 3 & 4 are able to rev to 5000rpm.
Stage 4 just has a little more lift.

Do you have enough PTV room for a stage 3 or 4? I know nothing about the specs of either, but I'm assuming it has more lift. IIRC you had reliefs in your pistons already, but will it be enough?

Yeah, if I remember the reliefs are like 0.080" ...maybe more.

Here are the specs:

It's only another 0.050" lift from what I run now, so the reliefs should be good.

0.100" more lift than the Colt Cam stage 4!!
That's a lot more!

Wonder what the power range would be...2750-5000?

I'm very interested in those!
That's gotta be the most lift on a 6.0L camshaft Eva!

Stick some Harland Sharp roller rockers with higher ratios, and just Go to Town!

Hmmm, something seems odd there. Wonder if they are showing the lift with the same 1.4/1.42 that the Colt card says. I can't imagine they would be THAT much difference. That is a TON of extra lift.
