Thinking of making the switch. anyone swapped out a JB for a BB of same or simlar size? Did you see the night and day difference i keep hearing about on spool up and EGT's?

Your spool up will be much faster with the BB turbo but peak power will not be that much of a difference. But the thing with BB turbos is that they light faster and that means 25,50,75 hp more at any certin rpm sooner than before with the JB turbo. That makes a huge difference. I will be making a switch here very shortly to BB turbo setup over what I currently had.
