MICTUNING makes a 40" (42" overall) LED light bar which looks kinda interesting. I have a couple ideas for mounting it and was wondering if anyone has tried Michtuning stuff.
Normally when I compare an off brand $144 item to something like the $1600 Rigid light (that looks the same) I would say "cheap chinese junk" and not even bother.

But I ride w/ a lot of ATV guys who spent $90 on their LED bars and I spent like 5x that with VisionX. They seem to perform about the same and the likelyhood of me smashing mine on a tree/rollover is pretty good - compared that is to the whole thing burning out.

I see nothing on Amazon or the MFGR's site about warranty, so I'm going to assume there is none.

I know some of you guys don't mind bargin hunting and trying some cheaper stuff so I was wondering if anyone had tried this brand yet.

I can say my 40in visionX bar is the brightest I've seen. Rigid doesn't hold a candle. Baja designs was the closest in terms of brightness.
There hasn't been a China bar that impressed me.

Man it took me awhile to talk myself into spending $3000 for a GearVendor, 2k for a light??? Well to each his own..... It stimulates the economy and that's always a good thing!!!!

Unfortunately VisionX doesn't make a curved one which is what I need for the application.

DaCajun, what you have to remember is that VisionX is an industry leader. As such they have to do a lot of R&D as well as making a high quality product.

These other Chinese vendors are really just way undercutting their prices and not doing R&D, not to mention the quality probably isn't there either.

Not sure where Rigid is in terms of quality and R&D, but their light is $1600 anyway, so pretty comparable to VisionX.

This VisionX bar ($2k) is also using their 5w bulbs instead of Cree's 3w so no doubt considerably brighter.

So VisionX, brighter, very high quality, R&D, USA product, etc. Someone has to do the industry leading.

I've got just 2x of their 7x10w little square lights in my bumper and they light up the night. Adding these bars is totally overkill. :D Shown in the bottom part of the bumper. Small, but so bright I don't even use the regular brights anymore.

Oh I get, quality is quality... My was comment was more so directed at forking out that kinda money for something as such.... But hey, if that's what you want and you're comfortable paying for it than more power to you!!!! That's what so great about this country people can buy what they want, well that is till the libs take our guns away from us... I more than happy for you and or anyone else that customizes their truck, car or be it an atv the way YOU YOURSELF wants to!!!!! I'm sure that sun of a gun puts out some crazy light!!!! :pimp:

Oh and BTW, nice looking SUPER DUTY you have there!!!!!
