anyone wash their radiators out?

does anyone wash there radiators out? i did mine last week and my truck runs 5 to 10 degrees cooler.

the outside. and i used the pressure washer we have at work, got a ton of pollen out.

I wash mine about once a year, I'm always surprised at what all comes out. Lol

Not a fan of pressure washer on the radiator. Fins easily bent but I can imagine it helps. I like to take warm soapy water. Dawn dish washing liquid works well in a weed sprayer. let it sit for a few minutes then rinse it out with water hose.

I prefer not to use soap when washing out the radiator. in the years I've washed condensor coils doing hvac work I've noticed that using soap tends to attract dirt faster.

twice a year for me. Distilled water and one gallon of coolant.

I stayed a ways back with the pressure but ours runs soap through it on low pressure to wash the trucks, thats how i got most of it.

Is the water actually reaching the radiator? You gotta go through the AC condenser and intercooler first. As well as the tranny cooler on autos...

I pull my radiator out, wash it, and put it back in.

I was gonna ask if you guys were pulling it out to clean it. I'll clean mine if it's out but I won't set aside time to remove and clean it. Just curious how you guys were going about it.

I don't think it went through but just what i got out of the condensor helped out
