Ok, I'm gonna try my first post and intro again, and if this fails, I suppose I will be doomed to be a loober goober for the rest of my days. Anyway, I am from just south of Hot Springs, AR, and I look forward to being a part of this group and learning more about diesel engines and overall truck performance. I have owned a 2006 F-350 for over 3 years now and have learned many things, mostly the hard way, and have found the value of belonging to forums through participation with one of my other vehicles.
I have modified my truck with ARP studs, Bullydog PMT, Atlas 40 FICM, Blue spring, egr cooler, etc., but I still have a few problems. The worst is blowing the inter cooler boots off when towing heavy loads. I have a new set of boots coming, and plan on routing the CCV out of the intake, and using hairspray on the joints. Any suggestions or recommendations on how to stop this from ever happening again would be appreciated!
