My friend has a box of new studs that he'll give to me but they're probably for a honda. He says there's 20 of them, they're about 9 inches long and the box days they're 10mm does that sound right?

Unless you can compare side-by-side....

I would want OEM packaging/part number... or I wouldn't touch them.

6.0 studs are thicker then 10mm, I believe they are about 15-18mm thick. And if it wasn't built for it I would stay away cause it a ton of work to change gaskets

....you could use extra teflon tape to build up the threads so they would catch inside the block...
...if they are too long of stud some washers would take up the slack.

Mix and match...what could possibly go wrong?

Now...being completely honest. Order them from a vendor who has the CORRECT PART NUMBER in stock, and save yourself the embarrassment of having to do the job again....or worse, taking it to a shop to do the second time around...and having to explain where the hell they came from...
