This was only an issue with the stage 2 though and 190s, and was prior to the final revision from idp that cleaned it up to a more acceptable level. Still wasnt 100% clean with the ficm tune installed, but once i took it out, it ran very clean. I am running the same tune on the stage 3 with the ficm tuner on now, and it runs pretty clean atwot. The smoke output is about the same as a stock fuel/air truck on a hot street tune at wot. However, it has never hazed all the time as the op was saying.
