Well its time to get rid of my Glowshift's, I am happy with them, I just want change. I am torn between the Autometer ultra lites, phantom series, and another set of the C2's. What would you guys recommend? I know alot of guy's run Autometer Gauges here so can i get some opinion's/recommendations, it would be appreciated.

Thanks!:toast:

If you want to get an ultralite series I would go with the Ultralite II just because they have the internal LED lights and the wiring can be kept much cleaner when wiring it up, plus they look better at night than the bulbs do. The Ultralite IIs also come with a higher quality pyrometer cable that isn't in two pieces. I was always a fan of the C2 series however and I believe they have internal LEDs as well. I have had my Ultralite IIs for 3.5 years and haven't had a lick of trouble with them.

I don't know if you'd have any interest in them but I had the Z series in both my '00 (boost, trans) & '01 (all three) & '93 Cummins (all three + fuel press). I was super happy with how they looked and functioned and wouldn't hesitate to do them again.

FYI Autometer has a Factory Match Ford series that look pretty good.

I've been considering the Z series as well. I like how the ford factory matched looks too.

Thats my ****. Id get the white gauges that turn black at night. Or phantom II's. These match my stock gauges but these gauges are a POS. Third or fourth set of autometers and Im done with em. Isspro or just the cts fromd now on. ProSport Performance gauges are real nice too. The set in the picture are new. Got em in Nov 11 and had to send em to a third party and get them taken apart and cleaned/resealed. The ***kin lenses were foggin up everytime I tirned a light on. Junk.

All my old autometers still work and look new. The current new stock is crap and other people are having trouble too. They arent cheap enough to take a chance, imo. If they werent a local company I wouldnt have used em.

Long time AM customer here. Wont support them anymore however. Cuztomer service was bad regarding issues I had with this new set of gauges.

I have C2's and I love em, they look great with my interior just wire it into the dimmer because when they are turned up they are bright as hell.

Only thing I've noticed with my bro's gauges so far.. is light distribution issues. He had the C2's to begin with and each gauge was a different brightness from the other. When you dimmed them, eventually 2 gauges would go completely dark while one was still lit up. That's something that would aggravate the $hit out of me if it was my truck, I don't know how he was able to stand it. I would have to have something that was even from top to bottom

for some reason on both sets of gauges ive ran (C2's and Glowshift 10's) the bottom one is always a little different color
