Like the title says I'm having a helluva time trying to get the aux tank to drain into the primary tank. It was origonaly all messed up they had the drin from the aux tank feeding into the primary tanks vent. In return it would click off the fuel filler. So I re plumbed it the way that the directions said and now it doesn't drain into the tank . this is how I have it set up see pic below.

You have yours like mine and mine works fine.
Does the top of the tank have a check valve also, if so make sure it is open or it wont drain. Better yet take the cap off the aux. tank and see if it starts.

I have un screwed both both caps trying to get this to work. no the top tank doesnt have a roll over valve. the drain from the aux tank goes to the roll over valve in the filler neck union.

It had it origonaly going to the vent tube and it would fill no problem. but the primary tank wouldnt take more then 3$ at a time at the pump. so I fixed that issue.... i didnt think you could fill something through a vent?

No but a vent is needed in the aux tank to drain or it will create a vacuum and not drain.

I am confused. If you see fuel in the filler neck the tank should be full and the check valve in the filler neck is stopping the flow.
