As far as I had always read the hybrid will hold the peak longer and higher as they required less hpo to actuate which makes them a faster injector and of course to pull higher you need an injector to get its business done fast. The B code may see a better Torque curve due to the slower injection rate and higher VOP. However you have a good point as most dyno graphs show power falling off after 3K rpms on most basic setups. B codes seem to fall off after 3K rpms as well from the test bench results that have been posted over the years. Like I said before I have B codes and they are smooth running injectors. They are somewhere north of 300cc (in an older post Jim of rosewood stated 350cc)with 200% nozzles and idle like butter. I modified some BI codes which have a shorter IP and deeper barrel than a unmoved out of the box BD code. I don't know why your injectors idle so rough. An injector that "flows a lot of fuel" should not have an issue being manipulated thru tuning to idle perfect. Mine idle like stock injectors on a stock tune. I suppose it's possible the type of nozzle may have to do with it and the process used to machine the nozzle. Those 300% nozzles are usually custom made right?
