What are back pressure and drive pressure gauges? How can i put them on my truck and are they important to keep an eye on?

They are one and the same. A back pressure gauge will tell you the exhaust gas pressure pre turbo. If you are trying to dial in a wastegate or just want to know what the pressures are then they are a must. Most people don't have one permenantly but rather use them temporarily until they have their wastegate set where they want.

Drill and tap a manifold to 1/8npt. Get a boost gauge that will hit at least 40lbs. Get a copper install kit for a boost/fuel/oil pressure gauge and run the copper off of the manifold in a coil pattern. Then hook the nylon tubing that came with the boost gauge up to the copper and run it in cab to the gauge.

Seriously though, unless you have a problem or are trying to dial in a charger setup I wouldn't use one.

Iv heard of people using where the EBPV tube goes. Would that work? That way you don't have to drill and tap anything?

My EBPV is disconnected so instead of teeing off that can you just pull the sensor out and use that?

Leave the sensor hooked up. The PCM uses that information for different maps.

Is that a heads up display?

No, it was a prototype Cooling Mist set up... Long gone. That video is about 3-4 years old.

Thanks for posting that up. Pretty cool

I have a drive pressure gauge T'd into the EBP gauge sensor. I just used a regular boost gauge.

Not really... In 100k I have not had to replace the Isspro sender...

When I ran a mechanical gauge I had to clean/replace the pressure snubber several times in 15-20k...
