Bad batteries.

So last night it got down about 15* and this morning about 7am the truck wouldn't crank. The batteries are cheap autozone 650 cca that came with the truck 3 years ago. Any suggestions on batteries for this cold blooded sob.?? Im thinking interstate but a buddy that drives a cummins just told me optima. Thoughts please and suggestions

I got Diehard Platinums that are rebadged odyssey. They are expensive, but worth it, as they have been more reliable than any of the other higher CCA batteries I have used in the past.

i use interstate also, never an issue.

have you looked at glow plugs?
also what about starter?
mine wouldn't start for chit when cold, had original starter on it, swapped to a 99-03 version I think it was, fixed my issue
