Appears the shop didn't install filtered cores when they did my tires. I have to have one broken down and bead sealed so I need to purchase more balance material. Issue is I don't know exactly what they used or how much.

Question is, do any of you know where I can get some filtered cores and balance sand?

I have a discount tire near me. Do they carry equal and cores? When I worked there we never had the stuff

The equal will come with one core in the bag. You don't have to have the agitator core, it just helps with deflating and keeping the stem unclogged. Most any tire store should have them.

The core is in the same bag as the equal? They put the bags in the tires. I know this cause it took a mile or so before the bags broke cause it felt like I was driving with square tires. Lol

Yes, there is a outer plastic bag, core, red top valve stem cap, and bag of powder will be inside the outer bag. The equal is in a smaller degradable bag.
