Anyone running this set up? What are your thoughts, anyone running it at high elevation? Looking for a good tow set up, heard good things about it.

is the bd thruster w/diverter a divided housing? and how does that work with y pipe exactly? Is it a t3 flange inlent that needs a vband adapter just like the open housing?

Right now I have a powermax stock injectors, talking with pizza pig and I'm thinking that is the turbo I want to go with, just hoping it will spool better than my powermax on tow tune.
What kind of egts and boost do you see on a wot run?
Thanks.

its a divided housing. the diverter is the adapter, its a drop in kit, it is not easy to install by no means tho, no fab work tho

mines waste gated at 37 psi.. on X-race on a 1/4 mile run i see about 1450 with the probe in the exhaust manifold, at 60 mph on flat ground it stays about 600

According to a HP calculator using your ET, it puts you at 520. Eitherway I would say you are definitely over 500Hp.

Hmm. This sounds like my perfect setup that I am looking for. What size nozzles do you have in your injectors?

I am sure this has been asked but what are the specs on this turbo??

How is thought that this turbo would compare to a waste gated 62/65/.70 with a t3 open housing and no diverter valve with 175/75s with respect to towing and normal drivability??

It seems that it would cost less with such a turbo as opposed to the $2800 that this thing costs. Nevertheless, if driveability were to suffer too much then it would probably not be worth any savings.

i didnt measure it, but a guy at BD said its a 62/70... the website said 61.5 but maybe that how they measure

Also you have to remember than you'll need a pedastol for a non vgt turbo. RCD's is like 650ish i think retail, i can do a little better on them though.

As far as driveability, i would venture a guess at the BD being better because of the diverter and bigger turbine side. Means itll spool good down low and still have a good run out up top. This is just going from logic as i haven't installed one here yet.

The diverter valve doubles as a pedestal I do believe.

It comes in a kit with everything...

You can get a nonvgt. Setup cheaper.... especially if you get something off of the shelf and get a turbonetics mount kit
