Well i ordered a new flange adaptor yestetday, asking for the first gen thruster flange adaptor...but i got the new style instead.
So I decided to keep the brand new one "New" and modify my old one.

Pulled out the diverter valve flapper, and started to open everything up.

Need to go buy some 5/8" round stock and some fine thread screws...and i will seal it all up.

I'd just build a new set of uppipes so each bank goes to each valute in the turbo, that's how ht a dual housing is suppose to be setup. It does spool the charger a lot better that way

I modded the "Y" pipe enough that I had to weld up all the way around on the outside of it to reshape the transition from the pipes to the collector.

Yes...new up pipes would have been a good idea....if I would have known the diverter valve was seized up before I put the engine back in, I would have made them...
Never thought about testing it before since its only a couple weeks old.
Would have been easy to do them with the engine out for sure.

Here is another picture that really shows the big restriction removed.
There is a huge bulge that helps seal up against the flapper to route the exhaust to the far side of the adaptor when at low boost.
