Ok so what I'm thinking is putting bed liner around the fenders and down the rocker panels my truck is green so I was thinking black. What do you guys think?

Also what kind of bed liner that I could do my self and look good and last?

I'd go black but if you plan on keeping the truck just spend the money and get it linexed!! That stuff is phenomenal!! My brothers SD had a do it yourself kit on it when he bought it and two years later you could peel it off at the car wash!

Now I know mine's a superduty...

I used Herculiner on mine with their UV protectant and have had no problems, still looks a million times better than the lariat tan on the bottom.

If you look at the pic in my sig its the same color as yours and Ive had it for over a year like that. Used stuff from a auto paint supply house and its color matched as close as possible.

we just used al's liner on a golf cart we built, that stuff is great, can't go wrong with al's liner, but you have to prep it right, I think most of the problems due from lack of proper preparation.

Can I ask what kinda price did you pay just so I can get an idea and compare to others

200.00 with the gun, and its a huge azz gun with a hopper on it.

Here is the kicker though, YOU HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY READY to shoot as soon as you mix the last part in. I'm telling you that stuff set up rock hard in less than 15 minutes.

what you do is get vehicle completely prepped first thing.
mist the panels with the little spray bottle of adhesion promoter (or whatever it was called)
then open box and mix everything together, its all labeled etc.
once mixed stir with the paddle (goes on a drill) and pour into the hopper of the gun. You need to play with the spray pattern for a minute to get the right texture.
Its best to have a helper, go to town. I think if your adding a custom color it goes in instead of the black color.

It was pretty simple, pretty much idiot proof, but time is short once mixed. We did the whole ez go golf cart and had about 1/3 left that was hard as a rock.

To clean gun, you turn it upside down and let it dry (yes the liner dries in the gun). Then once completely dry you just pull it out, disassemble the barrell of the gun and pull it out that way also, then your done! pretty easy

the hardest part is figuring out the spray texture size by pulling the trigger.

here's a pic of it.
