best air intake and tuner?

well i thought about selling my 6.0 but i changed my mind and decided on doing a build. i have a stock 04 f250 (stock studs, still have EGR). i have a 4" turbo back straight pipe exhaust. right now i want to do air intake and a tuner. what will be my best choice for both?

Don't waste your money on anything but sct. I have an sct x3 for sale with both innovative and gearhead tuning if you are interested

Air intake isn't really needed until you're moving some more air, can't beat the OEM filter as far as efficiency is concerned

Yup on a stock turbo I would leave the stock intake

Exhaust and tuner first. The rest all depends on how much power you want to make and what you use your truck for.

Afe Stage II and an Edge Juice with Attitude. Love the Afe. Tuner is completely up to preference but if you're going to be going with larger turbo and/or injectors, you should probably buy a Sct right off the bat

I would much rather recommend exhaust before intake on a 6.0L. SCT devices are a good way to go as well. We can get you setup with both of these if you are interested.

Do you have gauges yet? If not, check out our Infinity. It is a programmer/monitor that will monitor generic and Ford enhanced parameters. If your PCM can see the data, then the Infinity can as well. You can also add additional inputs to it that the PCM cannot see such as fuel pressure and EGT. Check the Infinity out HERE.

Sct is the only tuner you want. Stay away from the bully dog garbage. You don't need an intake. Get a monitor. Edge Cts all the way.

Yea SCT is the ONLY platform that should be used on a 6.0L. Plus we have awesome vendors whom can write custom tunes for it as well. Personally I have used Eric w/ IDP and currently Matt at Gearhead and loved them both.
