I remember when I had mine tapped in the manifold there was a lot of vibration on the gauge. I was told a better place to tap it that wouldn't do that but can't remember where. Anybody know?

i had good luck on the cold side pipe. would that work? i figured the boots kind of isolated the vibration.

I have mine in the intake elbow also. Seems to be good for me. I figured it was beat to so it there as any leaks would be before that point and would show quickly.

I take it back. I think that's what it was. I think I originally had it tapped in the elbow and that was the vibration. Went away when I put it in the manifold.

I just T'd into my MAP sensor sensing line with about a 4-6in piece of hose and just zip tie the sensor back up by the MAP sensor. It's out of the way of the heat and vibration and has worked flawless for a year now.

I am running the same setup, with no gauge flutter (vibration?) for about 3 years now. It ends up being the same reading as taking from the intake elbow in my opinion, but half the work to remove elbow, drill, tap, clean, reinstall.

just getting it farther away from the intake valves improves the condition. under the intake elbow is a nice place.
