Blinking OD light

had the harness from the PCM to IDM to engine replaced and now the OD light is blinking while driving and my 4 HI light is staying on / Blinking'

tranny shifts fine and worked perfect before a shop replaced the harness

this is on my 89 F350 with a 97 E350 engine in it

disconnecting the batteries did nothing, trying to find my code reader around here but have had no luck , i dont have a tach in the truck although the speedo does work properly

Where did the shop get the harness? There are differences in the early and later harnesses, especially at the firewall feedthrough (C202). Cheers!

We had bought the entire engine harness from a place that pulled it from a 97 shuttle van that was running, the engine in this truck is out of a 97 E350 ,

You'll need the codes to fix this. Without the codes all anyone knows is that something is wrong.

Was your original harness from an E-series as well? What about the underdash harness? Cheers!

original harness was from a van, pretty sure under the dash is as well but i do not know for sure
