Does anyone know where to find the block heater plug on an 06 6.0 that did not come with the cord from the factory? Thanks

Sweet! Thanks guys! Even though I live in Louisiana I think the extra heat would help the ole girl start a little easier

i live in wisconsin and don't even use mine LOL

Don't need it..... My dads 6.0 started on one battery this morning at 17*

Sent from my Milestone X2 using Tapatalk 2

Both my trucks had new injectors, new battery's, new FICM's, new glowplug circuits 5W40 oil, fuel additive and at 17F, neither one of them would start without making my house look like is was on fire and the neighbors though I was shaking a 50 gallon drum half full of marbles unless I plugged it in.. LOL

Honestly I've never plugged my 6.0 in. It sat on the ice on highland lake in new hampshire for a weekend. It was -15 to -20 below zero all weekend and it started. Granted she wasn't happy but she started.

I originally started plugging mine in when it had a stiction issue

AZ winter is like 40 at night unless your in the high country LOL but it's nice to have a warm truck and since I hit the freeway in 1 mile from the house I feel better about the higher RPM's not being on a stone cold motor

This is the situation I'm in. Truck is starting to have a stiction issue. I leave the house around 5 AM every morning at about 40 degrees, the interstate is a half mile from my house and sometimes I just don't feel comfortable with the high speeds on a cold motor. I'm thinking maybe the extra heat may help
