preferably with matts srl+, with a stock 03 10 blade.

whats max boost your seeing.(6th gear with the converter locked,tipping in on the throttle)

i have one here that spanking out around 35-40 psi.

this reading is with a mechanical autometer z gauge,plumbed directly into the intake manifold. its also backed up by the map sensor. so i know the reading is correct.

im almost positive this amount of boost is "to much".

im used to seeing around 25ish psi,with matts srl.

whatcha got?????

I saw 28psi foot to the floor with 190/75s and chris b's tuning, but I would see 35psi if I rolled into the throttle with the converter locked in overdrive. Mechanical gauge and 10 blade 03 as well.

yeah thats about my story as well. wot is around 25psi. however with the converter locked in 6th,the boost gauge pegs at 35+ tipping in on the throttle,without forcing a down shift.

back when with a 03 turbo i saw 35-38 on a couple tunes, eric's tunes i say 30-33

keep the info comming. im gauging whether or not to rip the charger off,to look for issues?

im thinking this charger is just a mutant, the vgt duty cycle isnt anymore than a stock charger.

i think im gunna pull it out,check to see that the ring isnt stuck. if all is well,i might just let it fly.?.

I would say as long as nothing is stuck, you should be fine. You're really not gaining a whole lot by having it boost that high (as that pressure ratio is off the map for that compressor) but I dont think it's hurting anything either so I say just roll with it if the rear end checks out ok.

the stockers will hit mid to high 30 pounds when rolling into it like you are Kyle, I used to see it all the time, hit almost 40 once.

When I gave Bill Cohran my MTW Stage 2 to run for a while and had his stock (15X,XXX mile turbo) I pushed it up to over 42psi and blew my hot side pipe off the IC. His stock charger made 40+psi a couple times while I was running it. I just thought it was a freak.
