Boost problem?

I just recently got my gauges installed & come to find out, I can't get the boost gauge over 15psi... The gauge will stay steady until about 10psi & then start to flutter bad. I just recently replaced my turbo wheel as the previous one was dusted. Mods are: stage 1 injectors, custom 6pos, 6637, 3in DP. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Yes it is in the map line hose

I think that is why you see the flutter with the gauge. I installed mine right into the pipe.
As far as boost pressure the most I have ever seen is 22psi in either of my trucks and that was pulling a heavy load with my F-350. If I mash it to the floor I usually only see 17psi or so. Others say they can get more, but I never seem to be able to.

Yes I drilled and tapped a hole.

Both trucks are all stock except for 6 pos chip, straight pipe, and one has 6637 filter.

Would this sort of deal happen often? I have my tuning from beans diesel. I will call them up & see if this has been happening often with them.

If youre only hitting 15lbs I'd be looking for boost leaks, checking fuel psi

Are common leak areas around the manifold? Intake? Plenums?
