There were a couple of outfits doing this very thing on the '05-'07 F450/550 trucks regularly. The frames are narrower, and heavier, but from what I've seen it is doable to get a truck bed onto one. Which year, specifically were you looking at?

Not sure on an 05 but I do know with the 2000 there will be a gap between a stock cab and bed.

Also fuel lines all need to be run from the filler back. And they almost need yo be run on the outside of the frame because there is no way to get the fuel lines on the inside the way the tank is mounted.

Also frame is narrower so the factory holes do not line up

Factory rear bumper will not bolt up like a stock one. Custom rear bumper will be your best bet. Also there is to much frame left over from the back of the bed to the end of the frame. Would need to be cut down to make any kind of bumper look normal

Some companies use to make the conversion. The one that comes to mind is centerioun or however it is spelled. The beds were longer and they had a fuel fill in the back of the dually fender instead of in front of the wheel.

Last thing that comes to mind is the frame is flat with no hump. A dually bed has the hump under it so where he hump would be it needs to be filled. You will be able to see it when the bed is on the frame there is light over the wheels.

This all on a 2000 f450

My truck is a cab and chassis, wb is 176", 4" longer than a 250/350 CC long box, there is a 4" filler bolted to the front of the box.

The frame width is something like 4" narrower and flat on top, so to mount the box there are mounts welded to the outside of the frame in the positions where the box bolts are, some are taller than others so the box cross braces will sit on them correctly.

My truck was converted out in Ca, by a company called Roll-A-Long
