Brake problems

On the way home from work, I went to disengage the park brake on my truck! It kind of stuck, the foot assembly came back when I pulled the lever but the light stayed on? I pulled it a few more times & the light finally went off. Later on, I could smell something was burning brakes, park brake? My brakes became sort of stiff when I got closer to home, still had a strong burning smell. Finally got home & the smell was awful! Park brake works fine, as it is parked on an incline. So my brakes were burning up. I checked the reservoir, it is full. Is my booster going out? Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

Just went out & drove around, brakes are reacting fine & no smell? And also, the parking brake light isn't sticking anymore? What the hell is going on?! Did my truck magically fix itself?

Pretty sure those brakes are cable controlled. Sounds to me like the park brake stuck on and you drove a little while with it on, then it came off. Cable is most likely dry.
