Broke down in nashville

I'm stumped, I was on my way back to wi, burning down the freeway when I started hearing a ticking noise. Look in the rearveiw an I'm fogging out 4 lanes of traffic with white smoke. So I got off at the 1st exit an got to a parking lot. Started doing some inspecting thinking broken rocker or push rod cuz the smoke smelt like raw fuel. Popped valve covers an everything looks normal. So 1 by 1 tried unplugging each injector, an still have the smoke. I checked the compressor wheel an its tight still but I've got oil in the down pipe. The oil level is fine, same with coolant. After letting the truck cool down, restart it an the tick is gone at first but comes back after 45 secs or so an the white smoke is instant. Truck seems to run fine other than the ticking noise an white smoke, all gauges are reading normal. Anybody got any ideas, cuz I'm at a loss right now. Idk bout the oil but the tick and smoke sounds like a split nozzle or injector is loose

That's kinda what I was leaning towards was some sort of injector issue. Is there any way to tell if its bad if I pull them? Or do I pretty much have to send them out to be inspected?

I hate to say it but if there gonna do the work it's not goons be cheap..... On the other hand they know what they are doing. Sounds to me like an injector nozzle broke

At this point I'm thinking renting a truck an trailer an getting it home where I can diagnose it better instead of throwing parts at it.

How goods your credit? Nothing an 08 6.4 and a new trailer can't handle lol that may be your bet to just get it home

Yea, they're 1 of the ppl I called already. I'm pretty sure I got an injector problem, so I'm gonna try getting ahold of swamps or cass to see if they can help, otherwise its getting a ride home on a trailer
