Broken rocker arm bolts.

Anyways today I finally got the passenger side valve cover off and found both bolts for the rocker arm on clinder # 3 broken off.

Any ideas on what would cause this? Is it possible I over torqued them when I reinstalled them? My next though is piston to valve contact. im running 910s with 0.30 shims.

When it happened I was about half throttle and was about two miles from my house.

what caused it? did you just put another one on? any damage?

Back when I had a stock motor. Try it and see. Or put that cylinder at top dead center and see if valve is hitting piston.

No. The ones that broke aren't loose either after I checked. They broke off.

Got the bolts out and new new ones installed. Runs fine. I have no idea what caused that.
