no, there are two parts to a ficm. The logic board, is the portion that contains the software (not the portion that fails). You get a new heavy duty power supply and the billet cover. correct me if im wrong.

just ordered the 6phase hope its as good as they say. as of now comes with a one yr war.
That is correct.
You would also need to buy a good 4 screw logic board (or buy a failed 4 screw ficm and use the logic half of it)
And then you can always sell your good used 7 screw ficm to recoup some of the cost.
