didn't realize that they were finally released. Wonder if they can be tuned.

you can certainly tune these, the factory board the software is loaded to isnt touched/altered with these, correct me if im wrong.

Just checked it out and you actually have to reuse your original logic board.

So basicly you're just getting the billet shell?

no, there are two parts to a ficm. The logic board, is the portion that contains the software (not the portion that fails). You get a new heavy duty power supply and the billet cover. correct me if im wrong.

If you look at the pdf, its basically like buying a half shell from ford.

So it seems that if i was to have a 7 pin FICM...that it will not work with transfering that half to the billet one.

These both are correct as I understand it anyways.

That is correct.

You would also need to buy a good 4 screw logic board (or buy a failed 4 screw ficm and use the logic half of it)

And then you can always sell your good used 7 screw ficm to recoup some of the cost.

just ordered the 6phase hope its as good as they say. as of now comes with a one yr war.

I have both a 7 screw FICM and a 4 screw FICM. Right now i have the 4 screw FICM on the truck and the 7 screw one is on my spare engine. Could a guy buy just the 4 screw logic board right from Ford?
